Multi-use trail. Primary use is as a short, direct trail between Stub Stewart Welcome Center (higher elevation) and Banks-Vernonia Trail (lower elevation). It is a good alternative to riding on the main park access road to/from the Banks Vernonia trail. Mountain bikers entering the park may use this as an alternative to Hares Canyon if going to the Welcome Center or main campground sites, and not directly going to the mountain bike area.

Access Info

Welcome Center trailhead is at the south end of the parking lot near the Brook Creek trail. From Banks Vernonia Trail, trailhead is on the east side of the trail approximately 1/2 mile south of the main park access road crossing.
