A bucket list trail. Starts off on pumice-like sand, roots, rocks. Roll all the way to Government Camp for a beer/lunch at Charlie's Mountain View! Plenty of places to stop and eat. Shuttled by the Mt Hood Express, $2. 14 bike racks await you with AC all the way up to Timberline. Park at the Rhody bus stop for an 18 mile ride. http://www.mthoodexpress.com has the schedule- 7 days a week. Bus fills quickly some days- so have a backup plan.

Snow drifts near the top. Clear and rideable mid way down through the switchbacks. 4 trees down across the trail so watch your speed
