If we went with the average difficulty rating of most local trails this would be rated as Very Difficult/ Black Diamond, but when compared to trails like Bridle Path on Mt Seymour (https://www.trailforks.com/trails/bridle-path/), it would rate closer to Intermediate/ Blue. Some sections are quite difficult to negotiate but many sections have good flow despite being a primarily rocky trail. Clockwise is more difficult than counter clockwise. There is a fantastic view point from a cliff overlooking Falcon Lake. TOW is a long time favorite of local riders.
The majority of the trail is on open rock face granite with plenty of challenges to get up and over and roll down. Added features of wood bridges, a natural granite table top, large boulder roll with ladder bridge up and down are found throughout the trail.
In the winter it morphs into a beautiful snowshoe and fat-biking trail.
