This trail is non-directional, but of the two halves of the Torrey Pines Loop this half is the better downhill and thus sees more downhill traffic than uphill. There can be a lot of foot traffic on the trail, so keep an eye out.

Steep tight switchbacks initially, tricky midsection due to erosion control steps.

This is a great downhill run. The top has some tight switchbacks requiring intermediate and above skills. It is very fun to rid up this section on an emtb. Watch out for all kinds of traffic.
