Recent storms have brought in much deeper sand. Most sandy parts are on the eastern and southern parts of the route. If you’re going...

Great condition! Sand is, of course, a bit looser than last spring, but my plus sized tires had no problem navigating. Watch for cows.

Parts of the trail are less sandy/loose than usual. Great riding!

I got approximately 10 miles for the loop...a plus tire/fatty delight. Overall, fun, twisty but sandy singletrack with some nice scenery. I run 3.0 plus tires, so was fun for me. BTW ran into another rider w/3.0s too, he agreed that the "fun factor" diminishes w/less tire float.

Oops...accidently rated it a "3". Would give it "4.5" if I could Big Grin »

It was my first time on a mountain bike trail ride. I saw plenty of videos on this trail before I headed out. The videos made this trail look really easy. The trail overall is pretty easy but as a first time rider it presented a challenge. I was not able to conquer the few technical climbs it has to offer. The trail has quite a bit of sand so I was winded and took a few breaks before finishing the trail. Definitely a trail for beginners but be watchful of the technical climbs after a blind curve.

Very small inclines and declines except for a few very short, steep sections crossing washes about 1/2 through. The sandy turns make for cautious turns early in the ride. Overall super easy and fun.

Great trail. Little sandy, but very doable. Brought my whole family good for the kids. Just watch out for cactus in the edges. Must do again.
