A bit of a classic Jasper adventure ride with the emphasis on adventure. Expect to find techy climbs and descents with some good challenges throughout and a few sections that require getting off your bike and push. It doesn't see as much traffic as many other trails in the area and as such there are many sections that are overgrown and it is not uncommon to have quite a bit of deadfall down across the trail though volunteers and Trail Crew do what they can to keep it passable. . The decommissioned High Lakes camp at the back of the loop / apex of the trail makes for a scenic lunch spot and is pretty much the halfway point. On a positive note 2021 saw plenty of much needed new bridge construction.
