Trail 365 - North Details
The whole North Foothills system is most popularly ridden in a counter-clockwise direction, though all trails are bi-directional. Ridden this way, trail 365 is ridden North to South with the portion north of the Trail 230 intersection being most popularly ridden as an out-and-back. The northern portion is occasionally rocky but is mostly smooth, as it goes up and down through several dry washes, the climb up to the large water tanks is steep but doable. South of the trail 230 intersection the trail becomes intermittently very rocky but rideable. South of the Simms Park road crossing the trail returns to the smooth nature of much of the North Foothills. The trail is trending downhill heading south, but is interspersed with occasional short climbs. Several trails intersect trail 365, and very few intersections are marked. Trail 365 traverses from the Tram base at the north to the Embudito Trailhead at the south (Technically, trail 365 is a part of the South Foothils system but there is no single track connector between the two systems.
