This trail starts from "The Rock" and cuts along the hillside through the manzanita and then drops into the swale (valley) and winds through oaks. After winding through oaks a bit you will do a little climbing and then get into some tight and twisty turns in large manzanita, oak, and poison oak (so stay on the trail). Come out of the tight and twisty and cut across the valley, continuing with a mix of manzanita and patches of oak. Flowing sections transition into tight and twisty and then back to flowy again. The turns will force you to keep your speed down as you descend but they make for great fun when climbing.
