From service rd 1562, right turn down Trail 9. At the fork turn left. When you hit Tail A continue to the bottom of the trail to the double track. To get out, turn left at the bottom of the trail, cross the creek and stay on the main throughway until you hit trail A. Pedal trail A back up to Penn Station.

       lower 2/3 of this trail is very steep (~30%) rutted and some root drops of 1ft or more. definitely not a green trail as originally indicated. the top is blue, the bottom 1/2 maybe black or at least a blue/black.

      in fact, the only green numbered trails on Canfield are 6 and 7, maybe 8 g/b.
