A trilha da ponta da laje fica entre as praias da Lagoinha e Ponta das Canas. No seu começo, tanto pelo lado da Lagoinha e Ponta das Canas a trilha é bem marcada, porém próximo a ponta da Laje a trilha tem algumas bifurcações. No lado de Ponta das Canas é necessário passar próximo ao costão do mar, em caso de maré alta não é recomendado fazer essa trilha.
