One of the best rides I've ever taken. Scenic. Beautiful. Worth the time and a must if you're in Reno / Tahoe.
The start is on a beautiful Meadow and then you're taken into the timber. Uphill is tough and I walked in a few places but nothing daunting. When you get to the summit and begin the down hill it's one of the most scenic and beautiful rides ever. Don't be food... There is some gnarly technical stuff to deal with and a mix of sand and granite that you onky get in the Serria Nevadas.
When you're in the forest it's nhce because the pine trees don't have low branches. Didn't have to duck once. Some very fun challenges mid ride that make you suck it up and take them on.
Then when you hit the Flume road down you just send it. I got up to 30 MPH. NOT SAFE but YOLO.
I will always remember the first time out here and want to do it again soon!

Super fun flowy trail. The beginning is a bit of uphill, but it starts to flow after the viewpoint. Lots of technical rocky stuff, some rock stairs that I ended up walking on the climbs. Also some great rocks you can launch off of (nothing too big). Finally downhill section is great, but watch out for the sandy bits. Overall a great trail!

Nice views. Some nice flowy sections and a lot of hike a bike sections over/through large boulders. Good connector to chimney beach if you want to do a 20 mile scenic ride.
