True Grit is a new trail leading from Hawk's Peak to Euer Valley Rd. The trail is built with a handful of optional intermediate difficulty rock features during the decent. All features have ride-arounds, and beginning riders should be fine hered. The top section above Sundance is steeper and may be more challenging for some riders, to avoid this climb you can take the access road around to the back of Hawk's Peak. The trail is multi-use and multi-directional.

Access Info

From the Euer Valley Rd. gate go past the gate down the road and the trail begins on the left at the first road intersection. From Hawk's Peak after the switchbacks at the top of Upper Motherlode the trail forks and True Grit is to the right.
