This trail system begins at Riordan Hall Parking lot adjacent to Tennis Courts and the Restaurant. From here look to the playground for the trail, or the Northeast corner of the parking lot. The trail can be ridden in both directions and has no advantage of riding it either way. Do it as an out and back, loop it with adjacent trails or try and be creative with Tweetybird to make an epic loop

Great trail CCW but looked equally great the other direction. Lots of climbing was rewarded with epic fast downhill runs

I thought the same thing....but did not enjoy CW either of the two times I rode it that way. I feel like the preferred direction for most would be going CCW. We're going to conduct a poll here locally. LOL

Can verify, CW is fun... CCW would be more fun. End story.

Clockwise. I rode it clockwise as it shows on Trailforks. I would say counter clockwise would be more fun. Just my opinion.

Rode about 16 miles of it (CCW from northern Forest Hills crossing). A few nasty little climbs... but the downhills made good payoffs. Oh, and the spiderwebs! I always start super early and clear them for everyone else. Felt like I was in my own personal cocoon by the time I bailed on this ride.

THE DIRECTIONAL ARROWS ARE WRONG!!!! I submitted a request for a change, based on a social media poll that had CCW winning at a 4:1 clip, and the change was not applied for whatever reason.

CCW is the preferred direction to get the longest flowing descents.

Great trail but I measure 27+ miles and about 3500’ of climbing. Definitely a blue. I like CCW direction best. Start at Riordan Park by tennis courts.

Rode it clockwise. This trail is decent as an after work xc ride type of trail. I liked back 40 much more.

Started at Riordan parking lot. Went ccw. First 4 miles were tough, tough, tough, last 3-4 miles too (not last mile though). Due to road closures, there is a detour to lago vista to bamboozelled and back to TV. Bamboozelled saved me since it was mostly descent. Needed that break. Had lunch about half way at the veggie place. Good call Smile . If you like climbing, you’ll love this. I enjoyed back40 more. Of course i rode that in much cooler weather.

The Riordian Trailhead is at a fitness center/tennis courts. I got there around 7am and the fitness center was open, so I assume you could get water there.
