The first 800-900 metres of this climbing trail is an easy meandering climb up through an old pine forest on wide singletrack. It then spits you out onto the Abbots Road fire trail to continue the climb up to an elevation of 500m. Here where the climb levels out, many of the trails from the upper mountain come in on your left and others descend back to the bike park base on your right. Turn Earner turns left off the fire trail onto singletrack again and climbs steeply through tight, narrow switchback turns. It intersects with a number of descending trails before climbing to the Midline Trail at 675m elevation.
