One of the better DH trails in the Tahoe area, this trail gets regular maintenance and improvements. Jumps and berms have been added to a few places along the trail. The trail mostly rips, though there are 2 or 3 sections with some big chunks to navigate. The trail can range from tacky to sandy/dusty depending on season and rain frequency. The close proximity to Diamond Peak ski area and housing there attracts some hikers, so please ride in control.

Access Info

Easy shuttle if desired with dropoff at Tahoe Meadows and pickup at Diamond Peak. Another option is to ride the Hwy 431 up from Incline Village, or alternatively, the Old Mt Rose highway (decommissioned) for a car-free option. Please avoid riding up Tyrolean DH. You can also catch the lower half of Tyrolian from the Incline Flume, which you can catch off Tunnel Creek Rd.

Green and clear. Only rode the section above the Incline Flume Trail, so I imagine everything below it is also in great condition. Not dusty. Yet.

Snow covered until about 7600 feet mostly rideable from the intersection of flume and below. Bottoms running nice!

Dry/dusty and a little blown out with ruts in the upper jump area. Bridge is out at the creek crossing after it passes over the flume west trail....

Very dry and loose sand in areas but still a great ride.

Aside from being super dry, trail is in good condition… …except closer to the bottom, where there were branches and a big log placed across...

Tamba posted on their IG that they also found spikes on the trail today. Very sketchy, not the right way to handle situation, somebody could really get hurt. Be careful

Today I encountered 3 spots where someone placed spikes logs across the trail be careful and alert if smashing it. My guess it’s trail runners or hikers that hate mtn bikers. Anyone that sabatoges trails shoul have their thumbs chopped

Dry and loose, tons of braking bumps, and three downed trees in first couple miles after new jump line. First is a climb over, second two have logs to help jump over, but a bit sketchy. Still a fun ride...

Super fun, flowy trail with about 6 optional jumps to flat beside the trail (small ones). The first gap jump is running the smoothest of all rn -- it's friendly, would recommend. The 3rd "gap jump" is between two rocks, sketch but neat.

Top 1/3rd is flow. Middle 3rd is awesome tech, last third is speedy floww.

Hazards: Watch out for loose sand grabbing your front wheel. Speed/breaking bumps and ruts.

The trail is excellent. There is a small patch of snow in one spot with a muddy pass, but overall the trail is prime.

I loved this downhill run. Lots of great little jumps and features mixed in. I hope to go back and ride this several times more.

Really great downhill with many three foot jumps, a few gap doubles, rock hips, some off camber sandy turns, big s turns, rock gardens, and small chutes to drops. Fukin love it.

There's a tree down on the trail, or was as of 6/9/17.
It's near the middle, a little after the intersection area. I was able to crawl underneath and drag my bike along pretty easy
