Upper part of Thunderdome where the trail starts to become more like a game trail, with several hike-a-bike sections. But it is fun coming down, though can get overgrown and the live oak can scrape your shins

If you like nearly impossible ascents and brake pad melting descents then this trail is for you. This trail offers great views of Utah Valley but it is not worth the climb, the brake pads, or the energy spent IMO.

Agreed, you kind of need shinguards too. Kind of a game/social trail. A lot of that up there. But this area is getting formalized, and these trails will eventually be improved, rerouted, or decomissioned.

Did this trail today went well but hard. I don’t have breaks and went down really fast. But I liked it.
