This mostly singletrack trail is an 85' climb off of Locust Trail to the main water supply dam of the Ski area. Follow the wider breast of the dam north to the corner of the ski area parking lot. Midway along the eastern edge of the parking lot the singletrack, the trail will begin again to continue your gradual climb up to Interstate. Both singletrack sections are rocky in places.
Due to the nature of the soil and the ridge top location these trails should be avoided after it has recently rained. This a also a great place to cross country ski in the winter since the Laurel Ridge gets more snow than anywhere else Trails are closed to biking during snow cover.
