Again, like Lower Animal Crackers, this is really a moto trail: It is rocky, a lot of it is loose, it's all uphill, making it a technical, challenging ascent; but a pretty easy, bumpy descent. Like Lower, there is no signage to differentiate Animal Crackers from the many other named and unnamed trails up there. The start of Upper Animal Crackers was very hard to spot until I passed it twice and had to rely on Trailforks with the gps. Close to the top there are some partially banked curves, and some pavers down in the trail. View at the top is pretty nice; and it better be, given the work you'll have to do to see it.

Some snow across the trail. Shouldn’t be too much longer.

Still covered in large patches of snow. Give it a week or two.

About 6-8 medium sized snow patches. Passable but not super fun to push through. I'd wait a few more days.

Rough climb. There are a few sections so steep you have to hike-your-bike. The view from the top is beautiful.
