This is a fun out-and-back ride with several large granite play areas. Overall, a great warm-up before heading out into the greater Bear Valley area. You can start at the trail head, where there is limited parking, or even start from the Bear Valley Adventure Center (aka: gas station), where bike rentals are available. Follow the trail to the west next to the highway until you reach a frontage road. Continue on that road until it turns to gravel and you will bump right into the trail head.

The granite slabs are fun to ride and it’s a short but cool trail you should ride if your near Bear Valley.
