This is a fun little trail that can be very busy with hikers on weekends during the main part of the day. It is best ridden early or late to avoid the conflict with hikers. When you get to the beginning of the trail off of Devil's Waterhole Nature Trail, if you really like climbing, go straight and you will immediately face a pretty good scramble up a granite exposure. At the top there is a natural wall that you will likely have to hike your bike over. Along the creek there are a number of big rocks that can be maneuvered around if your technical skills a pretty good. There is some downhill after you "turn the corner" but not much. If you don't like heavy climbing right off the bat, look for the trail to your right and ride counter clockwise. This will allow you to come down the above mentioned granite exposure.

The granite face climb and the return descent is the best part of the trails here for intermediate+ riders. Lots of tech on this trail, so you really have to like that to enjoy this trail. My wife and kids did not like it or any of the trails here for riding. Great for hiking with beautiful scenery. Very little flow so be prepared to work for the little bits of easy.
