This trail is an alternate, steeper descent from the Tahoe Mountain Trail. It is short with a few turns and winds through the whitethorn bushes but isn't overgrown. In early season or after rains, it tends to be quite muddy as the trail isn't as sandy as usual, so holds the moisture a bit. It is exposed to a lot of sun, though, so dries quickly.

Access Info

At the summit of the Tahoe Mountain Trail, the Valley View Trail climbs briefly to a radio tower, then descends to join Deveron Connector for 50 ft then picks up again to descend to join Tahoe Mountain Trail.
