Vista is a fast, raw descent from the top of Ridge Rd. to the bottom of Laurel lake. There are several small drops and rocks to ride over and off of on this trail, making it a mountain biker's playground. This map shows the section of trail that takes you to the "vista", a rock outcropping with a nice view. From here, continue on the trail. There are several different line options with different rock lines. They all lead to the same place. About 3/4 of the way down after you cross a service road, there is a steep rock roll or a gnarly rock garden alternative. Pick your poison

From Ridge Road, turn right down Cold Springs Road. The trail entrance will be on your left. From Laurel Lake parking lot. Climb up Cold Springs Road almost to the top and the entrance will be on your right.

One of the best trials in the state. Get your workout in by riding up cold spring rd and nothing but fun coming down. Pick up dream weaver on the way down!!! Will not disappoint.

Such a fun trail. I rode this five years ago and forgot how much fun the downhill run is. Definitely a Michaux must-do.
