This trail is the only way to the Wildrose Loop. There are a couple of short, semi-steep sections, but otherwise a steady climb for the most part.

Access Info

From the Espey entrance, head up the southern track of the Backside Loop. There is a trail marker clearly showing the start, a little ways before the Backside joins Lower Hogback.
