This is probably the best "walk in the woods" kind of trail in Utah County: a shady, relatively level trail along a creek. It would be green except for a couple short steep climbs around places where stream erosion removed the original trail.
Commonly ridden as part of the Wardsworth/Dry Canyon loop; past the junction there are more stream crossings and fewer bikes.

Access Info

The trailhead has a very small parking area (3-4 vehicles), where the road crosses Hobble Creek and the pavement ends. During October and May, the lower winter gate is open but the upper winter gate at Balsam Campground is closed, so you can park a half mile away from the beginning of the trail.

Disclaimer

Forest Service maps show this trail going further up the canyon to the road, but it seems to have disappeared.
