This trail has everything: medium-distance swoopy sections, interminable lengths of baby heads, gnarly hills, rock gardens, riding through the actual stream, smooth sections of loamy soil, and motorcycles along the way. It's generally only traveled by motorcycles, but makes for an epic day long ride, with connections to Diamond Fork, Hobble Creek, and the Great Western Trail.

I have only gone up this trail, and going up is really tough. It's a lot of slipping and sliding on larger lose rocks, and some insane hike-a-bike uphills toward the end. If you are going to ride this, I would certainly rather do it the downhill direction.

Oddly enough, this trail is much more fun and rideable when snow packed on a fat bike. You can't get as far, but it has kept my winter very fun.

If you come from the west side up and over, your crazy. Me and my buddy did it and it was steep enough that we hiked most of it. Once you get to the top, your legs are burning from climbing like 3000 feet then you drop down to the other side just to climb back up it again. Honeslty, if your into techy DH, then this is for you. Downhill is loose and rocky and really dry in the middle of the summer. Definitely and all day thing.
