A dirt road that starts near the town of Bonner and climbs through a series of switchbacks up the south face of Woody Mountain. There are good views of the surrounding area, including the Blackfoot River and Clark Fork River confluence, that expand to the Missoula valley and Bitterroot Mountains at the higher elevations. About 500 feet shy of the peak the road circles around to the north side of Woody Mountain and provides access to Mittower Gulch and Marshall Mountain.

How do you access Wood Mountain Road from the bottom?? got denied by two private gates. A friend said there is a whole in the fence somewhere to sneak through, is that the access point? Thanks!
