WORCA's showpiece trail has been under construction for the past 3 years and is now nearing completion. The RMOW is currently still working on the climbing route from the Flank into the Alpine, with planned completion in 2017. Eventually the climbing route will connect to the descent, however at this point access is only as up and down the trail and as such all users should be aware of both climbing and descending users. Always control your speed and be polite to everyone you meet, on wheels or feet.

It's critical that users respect the alpine environment while using this trail and always remain on trail. Freeriding off-trail in the alpine is not acceptable. This alpine trail network is non-motorized and was built for users reaching the top under their own power, motorized use or helicopter access is not appropriate. Please avoid use of the alpine areas in periods of extended rain or early/late season when the trail may not have time to dry out. Help us preserve this incredible new asset by respecting the trail, other users, and the amazing alpine environment.

Ahh, so this is a completely separate descent from that of Up, up and away!

Riding up this and continuing all the way to the summit of Sproatt, then turning around for a fun, fast and beautiful descent has easily been one of the best days I've spent on two wheels. Thanks to Dan and all the crew for such an amazing trail... the work you've done is truly incredible. Cheers!

So did you ride up this and up happy hour then ride down? Looking at doing that this spring summer and hoping for some tips.

You will need to be patient this summer due to the deep snowpack. Guessing even the lower levels will be snowed in until well into June and probably July for the alpine. The muni climb off the flank is reccommended, but not until it has been opened
