Trail unsanctioned, but remains a popular trail. PLEASE respect the neighbors, drive slowly past houses, even wave! Enjoy the awesome ride, but do your part to keep this great trail around!
The mtbr.com describes this ride like this: "Crazy, sick, fun, relatively easy fireroad duo track climb up to the ridgetop and then a knarly steep, narrow singletrack descent with no room for error. Two highly technical sections. The first is a hairpin turn followed by a nasty 6 to 8 foot boulder drop that's rideable followed a short time later by a huge slick rock that's super steep with just enough loose gravel and sand on it to keep you traveling at a good clip before bailing off another steep drop which is also rideable but tricky.
From Highway 2 a few miles east of Leavenworth (milepost 103.6), take the bridge over the Wenatchee River toward the town of Peshastin. Drive a few hundred yards (you’re on Main Street) to a T intersection just beyond the railroad underpass. Turn right and parallel the Wenatchee River 0.8 miles before hooking hard to left and entering Derby Canyon. About 2.4 miles up the canyon, the road splits, stay right on Road 7400. About 4.5 miles after entering the canyon, Road 7402 branches off on the right (south side) at 2200 feet. Take the less-used spur on the left side (north side) of the road and go about 2 more miles uphill to the start of the ride.

reporter Trail is highly saturated and is closed until the rain stops and the trail dries more. Don't be that guy that ruins the trail for everyone.

Riding awesome in most spots, but top janky section is super dry and the steep section into the corner is blown out.

Riding great! Top section smoother than I last rode back in July. Whole trail very fast but pretty dry so be careful, easy to come in too hot.
