In comparison to the heart pounding climbs of Full Goat and Brutus, Ya Mum! takes a more laid back approach, trading 1-2% less steep average gradient for a slightly longer journey.

Ya Mum! was flagged following a bush fire, when the foliage of the dense grass-tree population was scorched, however the trees have grown back quickly, making it difficult to follow the trail on the lower sections.

The trail is marked with pink flagging tape from bottom to top, though, so although not well defined on the ground, there are enough markers to get you to the top. And then there's always TrailForks!

Access Info

Start at the cul-de-sac of Copley Rd, enter through the gate and start to climb. Where the firetrail forks, take the left hand then follow your GPS or guide. look for a primitive trail off the right hand side of the fire trail.
