Yellow Ridge Tr. is an an undulating, beautiful trail with some technical sections, but mostly fast and fun. The beginning takes you under the powerlines, with scenic views of the surrounding mountains in the clearcut. Then, the trail makes a right into the woods and through groves of huckleberries and dense forest.

Access Info

From Greenwood road, go left up the side of the powerlines. It will wrap you along the contour to the right. For about a mile, follow alongside a fenced-off clearcut area. After this, take a right at the split. The next intersection is on Greenwood Road and Locust Gap Trail. Go across the intersection and to the right, following the red blazes. When you come out into the clearcut again, cut right across and onto the last part of the trail, which puts you on Milesburn Road.
