S. Army Corps of Engineers — North Atlantic Division
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division (NAD) oversees USACE missions across the Northeast, including stewardship of water resources, environmental protection, flood and coastal storm-risk reduction, engineering, and public recreation. Through its domestic districts, the Division manages and supports recreation opportunities at Corps water-resource projects, including trails, parks, lakes, and other outdoor facilities. NAD's natural-resources mission includes conserving public lands and waters while providing quality outdoor recreation for present and future generations.

These are the five domestic districts included in the North Atlantic Division's recreational hierarchy. Europe District, although organizationally part of NAD, is excluded from this domestic recreation hierarchy because its mission is primarily overseas.
