Waitangi MTB Park Spring XC Series Race 1
Race Details:

As the warmer weather approaches, Paihia Mountain Bikes is thrilled to announce the - at the stunning Waitangi Mountain Bike Park. We thought it was time to bring out your competitive spirit and have a blast on the the WMBP trails, that are known for their flow This is the perfect event for both first time racers, right through to experienced riders.

In this inaugural year, we're keeping it fun! There won't be any points for overall series winners, so you can choose to participate in one race or conquer all three. Gives you something to train for, ride with your mates and get that summer bod!
Each Friday, there will be prizes for the winners in each category, plus SPOT-PRIZES up for grabs, just for turning up and riding. All riders will be timed however, so you can race your mates and have boasting rights.

Age Restrictions
● Participants must be at least 11 years old
● Kids must be confident to ride by themselves

Course Options

Short Course
● : Ideal for those looking for a social ride or less competitive riders. It's a single lap of the selected course.
Long Course[:/I]● : It is 2 laps

● Each lap will be approximately 10km long, depending on the Friday, and will only be Grade 2 and 3 Tracks to ensure fun for all levels of riders.

We'll unveil the course details for each of the three races a couple of weeks in advance on their respective FB Event Pages. This way, you can start training and get familiar with the course.

️Entry Information
This is a fun and FREE event open to all riders who have a current Waitangi Mountain Bike Park Annual Donation on Hivepass. If you don't have one, you can complete a $10 Day Donation on the night. Remember, no donation to the Park, no race entry.

Safety
You are riding at your own risk, so it is up to you to ensure that your bike and helmet are in safe working condition. Please make you sure you read the T & C's for taking part. It is your responsibility to ensure you understand all the conditions before you enter
