The largest mountain bike event in Northwestern Ontario is returning for 2022

The Shuniah Forty Miner Presented by Tbaytel, is a mountain bike cross country marathon race held in the epicenter of Northern Ontario riding. Participants will be treated not only to world class trails in the northern boreal forest, but a full festival atmosphere with live music, food trucks, festival games and a beer garden to help enjoy the rest of the evening.

This two day event starts Friday September 9th with local Olympic cross country skier and avid mountain biker, Grahame Ritchie giving a keynote address, followed by a movie night for the kids. Then on Saturday the races start at 11am with the 48km event, then the 24km, the 12km and then the mini Miner race for the kids. The whole event caps off with the Sleeping Giant Brewing Company Rock 'n Roll After Party featuring The Honest Heart Collective.
