In this place there was a Castle, nowadays there are only ruins of it cause it was destroyed in one of the frequent wars between the austrian and venetian, in this case the destroyer was Maximilian I from Austria. The castle function was to control the custom point situated few hundred meters below in the valley and off course the surrounding villages and peasants which probably enjoyed for years the destruction of this building. Actually the ruins are in fact completely wooded and uncared, near to forgotten, therefor it's probably somewhat dangerous to climb the hill and access the area, which i don't suggest. Anyway the view from this point is amazing.
