Trail is in PRIME condition right now after we finally got some summer weather. The trail is clear of trees all the way through to the lake. Bugs were OK...still around but not insanity-inducing. The forested section is fairly brushy this year with the wet weather and growth, so please take some clippers with you on your hike up and trim a few back! Also try to clear any loose rock/fallen branches on your way up (be a trail fairy, your derailleur will thank you). Also there are 2 or 3 short muddy sections in the sub-alpine on the way to the lake just past the junction area - please stay on the trail and walk/ride in the mud to avoid widening the trail and damaging to the adjacent sensitive sub-alpine area.

Snow in the alpine can only mean one thing. If you didn't get a chance to ride it, you'll have to wait until next summer :) view
