With the time change, we are into night riding / running / hiking season and pulling out our lights. Given easement agreements and wildlife and site management, the various local land agencies and sites have differing hours, some of which prohibit use after dark.
Here is a quick reminder of open hours at various Ft Collins / Loveland area trails:
-Devils Backbone: dawn to dusk
-Blue Sky: dawn to dusk
-Coyote Ridge: 5a - 11p (This is only to the first ridge, as the Rimrock area beyond is only open dawn to dusk).
-Maxwell: 5a - 11p
-Reservoir Ridge: 5a - 11p
-Pineridge: 5a - 11p
-Bobcat Ridge: 7a - 5p
-Lory State Park: 7a - 5p
-Horsetooth Mountain Open Space: open 24 hours - upper lot access. (Soderberg lot open dawn to dusk)
-Red Mountain: Dawn to Dusk - November (closed Dec - Feb)
-Soapstone: 7a - 5p - November (closed Dec - Feb)
-Hermit Park: 6a - 10p
USFS areas are typically open 24 hours a day. These include Lion Gulch, Hewlett Gulch, Mount Margaret, etc.
