Description:
I went to clear the tree so that the Witsend riders could enjoy an unimpeded climb, but someone already beat me to it. Hey @raggs if I find out that you cleared it and didn't report, Imma have to give you 5 demerit points.

I confirmed with the Witsend race director that the course does indeed go up this short section of road before joining the Interstellar singletrack a bit higher up.

Leave the tree it keeps the motos out. That race should be going up the trail not the road!
