Description:
Currently passable except for one set of switchbacks below the Minnow Cr jct. somewhat brushy & lots of slash on the ground, and lots of pulled out rootwads still,
Leavenworth’s USFS trail crew cleared about 2500 logs and slashed out Minnow Creek and Basalt Ridge last month, along with most of Finner Tie/Lower Basalt Ridge. We worked with a Boy Scout group to do a bunch of follow-up brushing with loppers and hand saws last weekend.
We’re hoping to get Rock Creek Tie added to that list and put in a good amount of treadwork next season to get this trail system fully operational again.
