6/26 - USFS crew cleared from Finner Cr CG to just below Basalt Peak, as well as Minnow Creek bump in, Basalt Pass and a start on Rock Creek Tie. Slashed out last of the switchbacks below the Minnow Cr Jct. Definitely fewer trees down this year than previous years, cut tons of ceonothus, and still there is tons more to cut! Real fun ride on the way out though, gonna be super cool when it’s really running! Transcascadia has plans for work in the area this month to keep working on getting it back into awesome shape!
