Aug 01, 2024 Northern Exposure / NET Trail Report

This whole loop is falling into disrepair. I rode here last year once and this year once on my way to and from Boston. Last year, I assumed it was just a one off and the trails had not been maintained in a bit. After today’s ride, it’s clear that, not a lot of work is being done on this trail. It is overgrown and there there are about five trees that need to be cut out. There are lots of derailer catchers laying all over the trail so it’s obviously not being written that much these days. And one soft area , I saw a single tire track going through. A few years ago this used to be my favorite spot to hit going from New Jersey to Boston. At this point, I’m not sure it’s worth going to anymore. Makes me a little sad, but it is what it is.
