Description:
Started early (dawn) to beat the heat. Went counterclockwise. Great conditions. Some minor bushwhacking due to the recent rains but no problem just wear long pants. After you go through the second gate the trail goes to the right but you can go for a short uphill hike to the left for a great view then return back to the trail. There is a $7 fee to get into the park but the gate is always open and you can self pay so going early is no problem. Can't wait to hike it again.
