Dec 06, 2025 Brown Mountain (upper) Trail Report

So this is the trail that humbled me to put it mildly. You not only need serious tech skills but you better also have good cardio, especially if doing the whole loop. Portions of this thing are expert level. I almost went through new brake pads and underwear. Steps up, steps down, corners that will test everything you’ve got and it seems like it will never end!
