For this trail - Running mint. Yes it is basically one deep rut. But that's the point of Slip saddle. Nothing blocking the trail, Dirt is prime from rain then sun. If you want a steep balance and brake control challenge, this is the one. If this isn't your thing and you want flowy groomed runs, stay away.
