May 23, 2026 Sidewinder Trail Report

Rode yesterday 5/22. We found an alternative way in using an unmarked trail lower down the compressor station access rd, but it appeared people were accessing it right underneath the powerlines that are under construction closer to the compressor station as well. There was a construction/road flagger there but we didn't stop to ask if they were allowing access that far up the road.

Trail was not blocked, I think Fortis just wants people to be aware they are entering a construction zone. Be courteous and careful riding up the road!
