Jun 13, 2026 Flower Creek Trail Trail Report

Massive amounts of timber down across the trail after the wilderness boundary. Hours spent in dangerous positions either entirely bushwhacking around or going over and under dozens of trees that have completely blocked the trail. I’m 32, in fairly good condition, comfortable climbing and jumping, and it was hazardous. I would not want anyone I love to take this trail in its current condition. Forest service trail crews are on an unofficial strike after last year’s budget cuts, so I was told not to expect this to be cleared unless by citizens with hand saws. I wish I could add photos here.
