May 31, 2026 Creekside Trail Report

The upper end of Creekside where it goes to single track to Vineyard Vies is badly choked with thistle, the thorns of which are dry sharp, and 3 to 4 feet high. They chock the trail down narrow enough to catch on brake levers and cut your hands. The lower parts of the plants will cut up your legs. No fun, and I hope LFR staff bet the bushog out soon. Both sides of the upper lengths of Vineyard Loop are also badly choked with the same thistles.
