Jun 16, 2026 Saddleback Trail Report

First ride on this in 10 yrs. Not much has changed, it is still fun-chunky. Top 1/3 mile has some fun rollers but deep sand in between them. Much of the trail is a bit overgrown. 1/3 mile between the waterfall access trails is rutted. When dry these ruts can be awkward to navigate on a bike. Beware on hot days, what had been a cool breeze up top switched to hot air about half way down. Great backcountry trail!
