Is it gonna open to public before the race, or is it shut down for the whole season ?

We will try to open parts of the trail. The race organizers asked that we don't open the whole trail. They don't want anyone to have an advantage because they are locals and can ride the track before the race.

Thanks for the info. Understandable, but disappointing, since NCS is the best trail on this side of the mountain, and arguably the best in DV. Hopefully it won't lose too much of it's character during rebuild ...

@Bociancz: We are trying to keep as much of the orignal track as possible. We are using parts and pieces. Trying to modernize some of it and keep some of it old school.
