Description:
Upper trail is all clear and beautiful. No trees down. The 6701 road is now gated which means that anyone hiking will start the upper trailhead and basically not day hike past where the burn starts.

The burn section is basically clear and all rideable - however ... so sad, if you knew what this was like before the fire. I didn't enjoy it.

I camped in one of the spots that escaped the fire. There are sections in the burn that are still green.

The bridge is of course gone at the wildcat crossing, and it looks like they cut all remaining trees around it while they're rebuilding the bridge. I didn't understand why they filled the creek with logs either.

when you say upper trail, what do you mean? do you mean the section from 5800 down or something else. because that had lots of blow down as indicated by previous report

The upper trail being from the new trailhead until the burn starts. As in the start of the Siouxon trail.
