Yes, above Upper Howler. I don't know whether to ask the Muni to get them or go cut them myself. Would prefer they do it but I've been up there with a saw a couple of times in the past because they haven't bothered.
There is also a substantial bit of erosion due to a washout in a spot a bit below Upper Howler entrance. I may go clean the trail up of rocks and tree debris and fill in the erosion one of these days.
